Support Children Nutrition Education with CHIFAN

At CHIFAN (Cultural Heritage and Identity Through Food and Nutrition), we’ re on a mission to empower young Americans with diverse cultural backgrounds to reconnect with their roots through the foods that define their culture. In today’s fast-paced world, many American youth are losing touch with the rich traditions and diversity of their heritage, especially regarding what they eat.

CHIFAN is a volunteer-based nutrition education program focused on children from Pre-K to 12th grade. For the past two years, our program has hosted classes in Manhattan, Flushing, and Brooklyn, reaching over 200 students and inspiring them to embrace their cultural heritage through food. Our team includes passionate individuals from diverse fields such as nutrition, education, and community engagement, all working together to make this program a success.

As we continue to expand our reach and deepen our impact, we need your support to sustain this meaningful work.

Your Donation Will Help Us:

  • Provide essential class supplies for hands-on learning.
  • Cover transportation costs for our dedicated volunteers.
  • Print educational materials for our sessions.
  • Maintain critical subscriptions for program tools and resources.

Every contribution, big or small, will directly support our mission to preserve cultural heritage, promote nutritional diversity, and empower the next generation.❤
